Save Rate

How often viewers save a post relative to how many saw it - a signal of lasting value.

What it means

Save rate measures how many people bookmarked your post against how many saw it. A save costs the viewer a deliberate action and signals they found something worth coming back to - which is a stronger vote than a like.

Formats that teach or reference well - carousels, checklists, frameworks - tend to earn the highest save rates.

Why it matters

Platforms read saves as a strong quality signal, and high-save content often gets pushed to more people. When deciding what to make more of, save rate points at genuine value more reliably than likes do.
