Engagement Rate
Interactions (likes, comments, saves, shares) measured against reach or follower count.
What it means
Engagement rate divides the interactions a post earns by how many people saw it (or by your follower count). It normalizes for audience size so a small account and a large one can be compared.
Not all engagement is equal. A save or a share signals more value than a like, because it costs the viewer more and spreads the post further.
Its limits
On a handful of posts, engagement rate is noisy - one post going wide can swing the average. Read it as a trend across many posts, not a verdict on any single one.
