How to Write a Call to Action That Doesn't Feel Pushy

One post, one ask
A post that asks for three things gets none of them. Decide the single action you want - a follow, a reply, a click - and make only that ask. Clarity converts; a menu of options just creates hesitation.
Earn the ask first
A CTA only works if the post before it delivered. Give something genuinely useful, and the invitation to go further feels earned. Ask before you've delivered, and even a soft CTA reads as taking.
Lower the friction of yes
The best CTAs make the next step feel small and safe. "Reply with one word" beats "book a call" for a cold reader. Match the size of the ask to the trust you've built, and the yes gets easy.
