Patterns to adapt
Build on their point: "Yes - and the part most people miss is..." Ask back: "How are you handling [specific]?" Credit them: "This is a better way to put it than I did." Add value: a link or a next step, not just "thanks." Each keeps the conversation going instead of closing it.
