How to Plan a Content Calendar You'll Actually Keep

Build a calendar around a pace you can sustain, not a heroic week.

Size it to your real velocity

Most calendars fail because they're built for a fantasy version of you. Start from the pace you've actually held for a month, then add one increment. A calendar you keep beats an ambitious one you abandon in week two.

Batch by pillar, not by day

Sitting down to "write Tuesday's post" is slow because you context-switch every time. Batching a pillar - drafting several posts within one theme in a session - keeps you in one headspace and multiplies output.

Leave room for trends

A calendar packed to 100% has no room to react when something is spiking. Leave a couple of slots open each week for a timely post so you can ride a wave without blowing up the plan.

Create content in your voice - at scale

SelfScale learns how you write from your own posts, so every draft sounds like you, not a generic chatbot.
