Data Deletion Instructions

What this page is for
If you connected any account to SelfScale — Instagram, Facebook, Threads, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, YouTube, Skool, Kit, GitHub, Notion or Canva — this page tells you how to delete the data we stored from it, and exactly what gets removed. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which governs how we handle your data generally.
Option 1 — Disconnect inside SelfScale (fastest)
This is immediate and you do not need to contact us.
- Sign in to SelfScale.
- Go to Integrations.
- Hover over the connected platform's card and choose the Disconnect control.
Disconnecting deletes the stored data described below straight away. Each platform is handled separately: disconnecting one leaves the others connected.
Option 2 — Remove SelfScale from the platform's side
You can also withdraw our permission where you granted it, which stops SelfScale reaching your account at all. Each platform keeps this under its own settings for connected apps or authorized applications. For Meta:
- On Facebook, open Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites.
- Find SelfScale and choose Remove.
Because Instagram and Facebook access is granted to SelfScale through a single Meta app, removing SelfScale there revokes both at once. If you want to keep one of them connected, use Option 1 instead and disconnect only the one you want gone. For Google, use the Google security settings page.
Revoking at the platform stops our access but does not by itself delete what we already stored. Use Option 1 or Option 3 for that.
Option 3 — Ask us directly
Email support@selfscale.app from the address on your SelfScale account, and tell us which platform you want deleted. If you no longer have access to that address, write from any address and include enough detail for us to identify the account.
We delete the data within 30 days of the request, in line with the retention commitment in our Privacy Policy; YouTube data within 7 calendar days. In practice it is usually much faster.
What we delete, by platform
When you disconnect a platform, we remove the following. Nothing on the platform itself changes.

What we keep, and why
We keep the content you wrote in SelfScale — your drafts, your posts, and your voice profile. That material is yours and did not come from the platform, so deleting a platform connection does not delete your own work. You can delete individual posts inside SelfScale at any time, or ask us to delete your whole account by emailing support@selfscale.app. Deleting your account deletes every connected-platform record with it.
This does not change anything on the platform
Deleting the data SelfScale has stored does not, in any way, affect data held by the platform. Posts and videos you published stay on those accounts. To remove one, do it in that platform's own app or website.
